Urban Pilgrimage:
A City Journey on
Saturday 25th October
11.00-3.00pm approx
‘‘The modern city is a place of ‘flows and nodules’. The main function of streets and road
ways is to allow the swift passage of traffic bringing people and goods together so we can fulfil our new identity as consumers.
There are few ‘nodules’- places where we can step aside and ponder, stare or daydream. How are we to be
spiritual beings?’
The day will offer the chance
to reflect on how the city can help us in our spiritual journey.
The walk is approx 4 miles on
pavements and is wheelchair accessible.
Bring own lunch or
buy in town.
